The food was exceptional, but I missed having a TV in the room. a lovely stay at Isla Bank House!

Check-in time was a bit rigid, as arriving an hour early meant wandering around town with limited local shops available. The limited dinner menu left us wanting more variety, especially classic local dishes, and the absence of TVs in rooms feels a bit outdated. there were mentions of airflow issues in the bathrooms which could impact comfort.

Staying here was a delightful experience, especially the pre-dinner lounge which had a cozy fire. It was a great way to meet other guests and unwind after a day exploring the charming village. Our King Room was spacious, with a luxurious ensuite bath that my partner really enjoyed. Dining was a treat, with homemade meals that rivaled anything else in the area. We made a point to indulge in the dinners both nights we stayed, and the breakfasts were equally fantastic.
